Tempe Omni Hotel nears completion
The new $75 million Omni Hotel, located at Mill and University in Tempe, is well on its way to completion. The full service hotel will be 265,000 gross square feet, including a full kitchen, lounge, gift shop, fitness center and full amenity deck equipped with swimming pools and an outdoor bar.
In The Works: Block 23
ESD has completed the MEP engineering designs for the monumental Block 23 project. This development will include a mixed-use high rise with a grocery store in Downtown Phoenix.

Glendale’s New Environmentally Friendly ‘Hero’s Park Regional Library’
The City of Glendale opened the doors of its new library branch to the public in May of 2019. The West-Gilbert branch, “Heroes Park Regional Library,” was named in honor of all the heroes in Glendale’s community, and to recognize the current upstanding citizens of their city.

In collaboration with OMNIPLAN Architects, Energy Systems Design has completed MEP engineering for the monumental, mixed-use Block 23 project.
Project Award: SRP Public Administration Building
ESD is providing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering for the Salt River Project (SRP) - Project Administration Building, Betterment Project; a complete renovation, addition and restack of 430,000 SF Project Administration Building (PAB) including replacement of all MEP and life safety systems, new kitchen and cafeteria, and complete reformat of interior circulation.
